How to add another user

First, you'll need to define your management strategy within your organization settings. You'll be able to find your organization settings by clicking on your profile on the right corner within the home page. Select Organization Settings > Management Strategy. Choose the management strategy that most closely aligns with your organization. Below is an overview of those options.

1. Writing a Policy

You can do this by creating a login policy. Linked here is our documentation with more information.

2. User Management

With user management, you can easily invite new members to your organization and manage their permissions, together with third-party integrations and group access. Linked here is our documentation with more on user management .

If you opt for "user management," you'll then need to navigate to Users, which can be found under Access, and feel free to begin inviting users by filling out the respective fields and assigning roles.

Note: To log in, a user must have at a minimum read access to one space .

Summary of Access Roles

  • Read: Cannot create or modify stacks or any attachable entities, but can view them.

  • Write: Can perform actions like triggering runs, but cannot create or modify Spacelift resources.

  • Admin: Can create and modify stacks and attachable entities, as well as trigger runs.
