How to Reset Expired SSO Configuration

Last updated: September 8, 2025

If your SSO configuration expires (for example, due to an expired client_id in Azure AD), you'll need to perform a complete reset of the SSO settings to restore functionality.

Steps to Reset SSO

  1. Log in using your backup credentials (either a backup API key or regular login credentials)

  2. Navigate to your SSO configuration settings

  3. Completely unlink/remove the existing SSO configuration

  4. Reconfigure SSO with your updated credentials

Always maintain backup credentials to ensure you can access your account if SSO configuration issues occur.

Preventive Measures

To avoid SSO interruptions, we recommend:

  • Regularly monitoring the expiration dates of your SSO credentials

  • Keeping backup access credentials secure and readily available

  • Updating SSO credentials before they expire
