The AI usage limit

Built-in AI features draw on a monthly AI usage allowance. Once it's used up, those features stop until the next period.

Using your own API key

You can supply your own Anthropic API key on the Organization → AI page to bypass the allowance.

Only Anthropic keys are supported for this.

This is separate from the AI blocks you use inside flows. Those are apps - Anthropic and OpenAI both exist in the app catalog - and each is configured with its own credentials at installation. Bringing your own key for the assistant doesn't change anything about your AI blocks, and vice versa.

Turning built-in AI features off

Organization settings → AI → AI Features has a toggle that disables built-in AI features organization-wide.
